We Went Fishing!

First things first, we celebrated Grandpa LeRoy's birthday with him. If you take a close look at the cake, you can see it's a fishing cake. We should have known what was in store for us... It was a really great night! My aunt and uncle came and brought the little monkey in the corner of the picture, Olivia. She is my cousin Diana's daughter. We hadn't seen her since she was younger than London. What a fun child!

The next day, Grandma Pat and Grandpa LeRoy rented a pontoon to take their grandkids fishing. I had actually been thinking about this a lot. Neither Bill nor I fish. So I didn't know how our children would ever get to experience that. Here it was! I didn't have a license. So I couldn't help them with anything except the net. I was appropriately titled Net Girl! We were on the boat for a good portion of the day with one pit stop into shore to take a potty break. I don't remember how many fish they caught. But it was kind of unreal!!! Grandma Pat was definitely the luckiest of all of them - she must have had the golden hook!
