So what in the world is the big deal with a red jacket? Does this woman really love red that much? Well the answer to the second question is YES! In Mary Kay you earn the Red Jacket when you've grown your team to three members. I've done that! My team has actually grown to four members plus me. This has been a goal of mine for the past couple of years. And I'm proud to say that I've achieved it! God has been wonderful at putting the women in my life. All I had to do was listen - easier said than done!
Now I can keep my pins on my jacket each week - and no decision-making regarding what to wear on Monday nights!
These are two of my beautiful team members - Ann (along with baby girl Clark) and Nicole! Jen was at home with her newborn daughter - lucky! And Kristi lives about five hours away... I will excuse that absense!
My family even joined me for the Red Jacket Ceremony. It was incredible! My husband shared a few lovely words. And our daughters were just so excited to share in the evening!
Sydney really loved the chocolate chip cookies at the end! This photo doesn't even begin to show you how much chocolate she originally had in her teeth!!! She is such a good sport - she didn't even care when I told her that I was going to put this on our blog...
