We had London's first grade asessment yesterday. It went quite well. We are very proud of her. AND she was very proud of herself, so proud in fact that she wanted to call Grandma to tell her. I dialed and handed her the phone. This is what came from the back seat:
"Mom, it's making a funny buzzy noise."
Do you know what she is talking about? It was a busy signal. My parents don't have call waiting or voice mail. So, you get an actual busy signal when they are on the phone. Since my mom offices from home, it happens quite frequently if you are trying to get a hold of her during business hours.
It just struck me as funny that my darling daughter had no idea what a busy signal sounded like. What do you think your children will grow up not knowing?

Hey misti - i will never forget when addyson was little and gramma monna may took a picture of her at halloween....she wanted to see the picture right away but gramma had an OLD camera with real film.....addyson was so confused!!!
