After Christmas, we bought this really awesome Canon-something camera. It has multiple lenses and everything! The picture taking is coming along divinely. However, I think there is something wrong with the memory card since my computer doesn't recognize it. So, for now, all of my photos are stuck on the camera! But once I can get them on here, boy oh boy, are they gonna be great (or at least without red eyes)!
We had such a fun New Year's Eve with the Crow family and the Holm family. We played games. enjoyed nummy Mexican food and sangria (my first attempt - a success). I injured myself a little trying to jump on my chair to recreate the Tom Cruise expressing his love for Katie on Oprah episode. I actually got on the chair successfully but his my hand on the wall in an expression of love.
Since then, it's been back to life as "normal". We are all back to our regular schedules. London and I were outside playing in the snow today when Sydney came home from school. Let's keep in mind that she is in the sixth grade. One of her classmates was yelling some serious curse words down the street at another classmate. There is another vote for homeschooling! I should have his parents talk to Erica about the class she just took!
My evening's activities were canceled, I'm going to stay home tonight cuddled up with my husband and our daughter. Thank God for families!
