This is a picture of Sydney with our sweet friend Chelsea. Today was Chelsea's high school graduation open house. Which got me to thinking...
I'm guessing that when Chelsea was thirteen, her parents didn't even imagine that in five short years they would be sending their precious little girl off to England. Yep, that's right, across the pond! That's one big pond! Chelsea is like a real life version of Fancy Nancy. She will do well wherever she goes.

Back to my sentimal emotions...I have five years until it will be my "baby" venturing off on her own. The first thirteen years of her life have flown by. I have been fortunate enough to be a part of many of her experiences thus far. I realize that those moments will be fewer as she gets older and more independent. It seems like yesterday that I was in the hospital with my first baby and then she was the six-year-old when I was having her little sister. Now London is already the six-year-old and my baby is a teenager.
***sigh***
All of this to say, I love my children! They are such gifts. Time will stop for absolutely nothing so don't waste a minute of it!
