Here is what life with London entailed today. I bought her, her first 64 color box of Crayons with a sharpener in the back. She is used to sharpening pencils in the electric pencil sharpeners. I'm pretty sure that she broke off the end of a blue color on purpose in order to use the sharpener. She stuck the crayon in the sharpener and said, "Mom, I think this thing needs new batteries." She didn't realize that it's a "manual" you have to turn the crayon yourself!
Tonight it was this:
London: "Mom, you said that I could have a malt."
Me: "Sorry honey, the blender is still in the dishwasher. I suppose I could mix it by hand."
London had a very confused look on her face and replied with this, "Couldn't you just use a spoon?".
I love how literal she is!

Love the sharpener thing! So funny how kids now days are so used to mechanical things :-) We don't have an electric sharpener so thus far Kyla is used to doing it herself...although there is one in her classroom this year.
So cute! I love the crayon sharpener. =)
