Jacob, London and I spent the day yesterday at a friend's house - who happens to have a pool in their backyard. It was wonderful!!! We had a little lunch, a little conversation (or a lot) and tons of fun swimming! This summer has been filled with warm days. I'm so thankful and so are my children!
They have a diving board. So Jacob kept "diving" (they were more like little belly flops) and I had to judge him. The French (me) never went higher than an 8. The Spanish (me also) were consistent 9's. And Mommy, of course I gave him a 10 everytime!
London thought that she wanted to go off the diving board but chickened out everytime. She's done it in the past. We'll see if will the next time.
All in all, it was a wonderful day! We made it home just in time to enjoy leftover lasagna (from our wonderful dinner with the Holm family) and scoot off to gymnastics. They really seem to be getting the hang of that!
We are excited for Sydney to be done with dance camp, 8 - 5 every day this week, so she can hang out with us too!
