March Madness (here comes the snow)

The girls and I made it safely to and from North Dakota. The ironically wonderful thing about funerals is the time that you are able to spend with the family that you don't normally see. We spent about three days between my dad's and my Uncle Cliff's with all of my aunts and uncles and most of my cousins. It was kind of bizarre to think that now my cousins and I are the "parents" and the little ones running around are our children and not us! My grandma raised an incredible family. I'm just very thankful to be a part of that. Thank God for that woman!

We came home to a plowed driveway. I still don't know who did that for us. But I am very thankful. I was envisioning having to drive through a snowdrift from the plow just to get into our garage. If whoever cleared our driveway reads this blog, thank you!

Then Thursday the snow started again! We actually got to have a snow day on Friday. The kids sure were happy!!! I am also very thankful for the snowblower that was given to us by my brother- & sister-in-law earlier this year. I would have one achy back without it by now.

Bill is in Germany again for the next day or so. He is happy to be doing something but again sad because of what this mission entailed. I know that it's incredibly difficult for him to see these injured men and women and to think about the families that they have at home. We are very fortunate that he is doing okay!

I really just want to give a word of thanks to all of our friends and family that have been so incredibly supportive to us over the past month and a half. We are more blessed than we could ever have imagined. Our small group has been supplying us with meals and treats. We have some mystery person that cleared our driveway. We have friends that are willing to help out in a moment's notice with virtually anything. I just thank the Lord for all of the incredible people that He has put into our lives!

The girls are getting so big. I actually miss the snow. I also want to say thanks to everyone who has helped our family since I left. I want to tell Misty "I Love You" and will talk to you soon.

Take Care All
